Band Reading maybe very possible on the recorded day 12/15 at the 12:00 hour!! I cannot get the recorder to slow down to capture image, but I Could see the black left leg band and what looked like numbers!!
(We have the red band letter- U)

Well, I tried....I got several really good pics, but I don't have decent editing software that would help read the band...maybe KF will have better luck...

I'll keep working on the band to see if I can get anything...

Well so far this is what I've got, I'm thinking that the last number is a 3 maybe 33, after 2 1/2 hours of video you would have thought I could have got some thing.
And a couple pictures i just thought were cute.

Thank you, Kittenface, for all your time and efforts... Those are really cute pictures! It was at the box today during the 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00 hours. At 12:53:18, it is barreling into the nest box... :teehee:

A quick visit by a cold peregrine at 7:50:12. Its legs are fairly exposed, but its dim..... Off to work I go...

We just need a few more like this and we'll have it...she was on the move, so its blurry...I'm working to see if I can clean up that left band some more...

I checked the archives today. Our mystery bird came swooping into the nestbox at 7:51:39. It was squawking a bit, stomped around, and left. It returned for a quick visit at 12:00 exactly, striking a nice pose at 12:00:06, showing us its pretty eyes. I have not seen it pose quite like that before, and wondered to myself if this was not the mystery bird. Even my cell phone clarity is better than my monitors, so Im not sure....
