Well i'm going to take a guess and say there might have been a hatch at Valley and if not then soon this is the hardest of the nests to see anything but the way the pictures look mom is looking under alot and yesterday I thought I saw some white below her

This was not there last night as of 8 pm but was here at 6 am this morning could this be pare of a broken egg?

KF, I saw that too...and was wondering if it was a broken egg. I think they were due for their 3rd egg yesterday (I'd have to go look)..

I really haven't compared these two eggs with the previous two eggs to see if they are different..

OK..I just checked the pics..those "pieces" are gone (they were actually gone yesterday)...and there are still 2 eggs. I'm thinking there were really 3 eggs and one broke...why else would they remove those pieces from the scrape.

The only other thing I can think that they could have been were bits of food...but I really doubt it...I think it was egg shell...

Eggs now present at all 6 sites

Eggs have been laid at all six of our power plant sites – for the first time ever. We were keeping a close eye on our Milwaukee County Power Plant especially. The nest box there was installed in 2007, but this is the first time peregrines have produced eggs in it. If all goes well, three chicks will arrive sometime between May 26-28.

Meanwhile, we could see chicks very soon at a couple of our other sites. Eggs at our Valley and Port Washington plants could hatch any day. Keep a close eye on all of our sites through our webcams at http://www.we-energies.com/falcons.

Here are the estimated hatch dates for each of our sites:
Valley Power Plant: April 22-24
Port Washington Generating Station: April 26-28
Oak Creek Power Plant: May 2-4
Pleasant Prairie Power Plant: May 5-7
Presque Isle Power Plant: May 18-20
Milwaukee County Power Plant: May 26-28

Thanks KF...I had come to post the same pic (got distracted by the Columbus "squawking")...I had hoped the eggs would have been further along by now..unless we got our dates wrong..

I lightened it a bit..top, left egg does look suspicious, but who knows...
