Still hoping to see our BIG girl from PP, but so far, no go...

Thanks for the pics, Kittenface. Hope there isn't a prob between the owls & falcons next nesting season over the owl box. :shock:

That's odd--an adult falcon lying down like a juvie. Maybe they rest like that at times, but I don't think I've seen this except when an adult is scraping or incubating eggs! :?

Is the second nest the Oak Creek falcon nest, Kitten? Maybe this Mom is thinking "hmmmm...there is a clean house right down the road. Guess it would be easier to move than to clean up this mess"! :lol:

Yes it is,
and your right it is SOO clean compared to the other oak creek nest, BUT she has to stay in her on territory and thats all there is to it we want the owls again in their own place

I think this happened last year too...My guess is that the falcon is the original "owner" of the box before the GHO took over...
