Watched the Hanover eaglets being fed around 7:15 this evening. They were very polite with each other. I don't know how long the feeding had been going on before I tuned in, but toward the end neither seemed at all interested in any more to eat.

I noticed that with a feeding early this morning & I was thinking the same thing, Jane. I was hoping they would start realizing that there is plenty of food & there's no need to fight for it and apparently that's happened! :eggthumbup:

These guys seem to be doing great...I read somewhere that this is a new male...so, this could be his first family!!! If true, that certainly explains some things early during the incubation phase..LOL

Edit: Actually not alone. Parent is on a branch to the right of the nest & just moved into view.

Mombrella! It was pouring here a couple of hours ago & that rain probably went through the nest area, so I'm sure they got plenty wet. The eaglets are trying to crawl under mom to stay dry. :girlsad3:
