Blair was on the nest teasing us from 7:19am til 8:16isham (nest time)...
According to chat, Taylor was 'incubating the phantom egg!' and he just flew off nest. Someone is on one of the perching branches now -don't know who???

Lordy, What an afternoon!
Earlier, Taylor brought a squirrel to the nest (don't know if Blair was already on the nest).
Blair wanted the squirrel and Taylor was not about to give it up! (Similar to the other day.)
Blair squeeed forever! Actually, they were hollering at each other!
Finally, after approx. 1 1/2 hours, of nipping, squeeing, ignoring, pushing (at one point, Blair even threatened to grab his sore feet(!) and his tail(feathers?), Blair finally managed to get a piece of the prey!
Hopefully, Talon will have this on tape!
(And I think they mated at least twice this morning!)

(I'm exhausted!)

it was fun to watch Bonbon. I knew when she wanted it , she would take it LOl

And Taylor brought 2 meals to the nest today AND SHARED with Blair (that I saw - may have been more!)

I know I had a big juicy steak , right before I went in and had my first daughter. cant say enough about the power of food
