I felt it was a good day today. 3 big fish that I saw come in, and a piece of coot. One of the fish was still wriggling :egg14

the dad seemed ot be on alert, flew off before finishing feeding, came back to lower right on nest and then moved to left. Did nto leave till mo came in. you cans see his wings up at times( i edited or it would have been long

then one feeds with wings out LOL

Great pics. Wonder if that juvenile is still hanging around? There was speculation that it was one of the kids from an earlier year trying to get an easy meal, but Mr. & Mrs. B have pulled in the welcome mat.

they were sure on alert today. DAd went off and came back and sat in tree. mom went off and when dad came in he was calling and when mom borught n food , she was calling and cautious.

but both there this evening. mom just came in

Heavy rain is coming in Thursday afternoon through at least Friday...prediction of 2-3 inches over a 48 hr period. We'll see if that happens..

I love how mom still sleeps on the nest with them even though they are getting so big..!!

The one on the left was up and preening...while the others snoozed!!

Finally settled down...

Thanks Bev....I just checked the cam...mom's not in the nest with them tonight. So far it sounds like the severe weather will miss them...but, its currently heading toward me!! I'm under tornado watch...oh joy..
