Streaming was just stopped, so the rescue must be getting underway.

I am just beyond words happy about this.

crow is there also and will observe E8, if he is O.K. he will returned to nest

We are currently working with the state & federal wildlife agencies, the FWC and USFWS, and the staff at our local permitted wildlife rehabilitation center, CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc., to arrange a timely rescue of E8 from entangled fishing line.
Because E8's leg is swollen, CROW will observe the eaglet and make a decision to remove from the nest for further care at their clinic. If this occurs, once medically stable, it will be returned to the nest.
Because of the sensitivity of the situation, we will be pausing live streaming shortly & all ground visitors will also be asked to leave the area to avoid further disturbance during the rescue attempt. This is for the safety of everyone, particularly the eagles.

I know we are all following but they have E8 . he is crated. it apears they may be taking him to Crow for observation and I believe they removed some of the mosses to check to make sure all was good

when you see how windy it is , that was not small feat, to perform the rescue. I am so impressed.

could not understand some of what she said, but now we know where all the fish went
no wonder M15 took a fish out of nest. he was protecting it LOL
I think the whatever was only wrapped around leg since late yesterday morning. Everything seemed fine up till then, so hopefully not too much damage.
