Oh my. Just like the Hanover mom. Such dedication to preserving the species. We humans can take a lesson!

FYI: Read on chat @ another location, there was a hatch here. However, a little after 5 pm, I witnessed an adult bring in nesting material with an eventual nest exchange that revealed 3 eggs.

I don't know how Mom manages to get the food to those young chicks, with their tiny heads bobbing around.

Early this morning a second chick hatched! Mom is busy feeding the first chick. The chicks have been named D21 and D 22. Dad flies in to have a look.

First egg: 2/18/15
Second egg: 2/21/15
Third Egg: 2/25/15

First Hatch: 3/27/2015
Second Hatch: 3/29/2015
