From USFWS: PROPER DISPOSAL OF FISHING LINE: E8’s injury was caused by improperly discarded fishing line that ended up in the eagle’s nest .

E8 has finally made his way under Dad after hanging out on the edge of the nest all this time. Alarm calls are because juvie did a flyby!

E8 was reunited with his family at the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam earlier this afternoon after a successful recovery at CROW. A HUGE thank you to everyone for your donations and support. We will be posting some video of the renesting later today. :loveheart2:

thank you Freddie B good to see E8 getting fed. Tandem feeding is great. I am sure E7 is still bonking as E8 looked submissive at beginning, but what a touching feed :16val:

no worries about the bops by E7. we must remember that E7 was all by himself for 3 days and ow must share again. And E8 was in an all inclusive resort :10val:
