Apparently egg #3 has hatched..I couldn't tell...in the comments section, they talked about a feed..and all 3 getting fed..

I'm not sure they have enough fish...LOL

just watching a nice feed. little one is right up front and all getting fed. sorry I cant vidoe and it is hard to get the picture clicked in time

every thing seems ok!! I saw all 3 squirming!!...and boy do they have the food!!

This must be #1...he's got them whipped into shape!!

after a feed one adult left and when other came back 2 of kids tried to climb the bank LOL I watched ot make sure all were moving well Little is feisty. one in back slept through feed that i saw but I did not see all of it but then it moved around in back and tired to go up back bank LOL

I will come back later and try and enlarge

i just watched a nice feed here but it really warmed my heart to see wee one move i8ts way up to front after the others had a good amount and then out of no whee it just bonked one and then the other., LO land a really good bonking.

so so far all is well here

well are are back in nest. whew I have a video I will do up later.
But they seem to feed 2 and then one. one is always asleep

the little one had a few private feeds today

the two big ones are bruisers

I am taping feed and they take so long thank goodness because mom feeds little one when others are fed.

It has to wait as it cannot get in at the time because the others are so big.

What is difference in age.

But little does get fed. it needs to be more aggressive but is fiesty. you can tell it is afraid of getting bonked as it lies its head to side if one is reaching for food

one piggy just tries to get it all but we know how this goes.

mom is very good at this. would just love to see youngster get bigger and I am sure that will come before we know it

I will try an get back and edit a video.
sorry I never seem to get them done

well big one jsut covered over youngster and I know youngster wants more. ]]very windy there. mom just got blown off

I did not have time to edit so hopefully you will enjoy a partial feed and see youngster does get fed. not as much as others but then he is younger also. he would have got more if older one had not bowled hinm over when done( not on purpose)

Some very sad news to report...it appears that the youngest eaglet may have died in a freak accident..I've been watching for a while now and have not seen it..

According to comments, large fish was brought in and the little one got caught under the fish (with parent standing on fish)..and may have either been crushed or suffocated (sounds horrid)...chatters haven't seen movement now in an hour.....but, I personally haven't found #3...

I'm not sure if the "fish" area they are referring too is the one in the lower right...maybe somebody with longer viewer time can shed some light on exactly what happened..

:( Sadly you've got it about right SGB. I was sure all three were going to do well this year. This is JudyB's post from the WOW forum....

I'm afraid we have sad news today. Little #3 has been doing great - but in one of those freak accidents that happens from time to time, he was in the wrong place when one of the adults came in with a huge fish, and ended up under the fish. We were hoping he'd be OK, but sadly we've seen no movement since mid-morning when this happened. crying I just read a bit more on the Shepherdstown Blog, and they said that the male put the huge fish down where he usually puts huge fish - and this morning was the first time the tiny one had gone that far from the nest cup, so there was no way he would have known that someone might be there.

I am in shock . when i left today , little one was at top of nest and another beside it on the right . one big one was in nest.

the little one was doing great. it was feisty and got private feedings. think I am going to have to go off line for awhile. i am in tears as this was going so great. Goes to show how things happen.

rest in peace young one. you stole my heart :egg10:
