Actually, so can I now! Last night in place of the photos was the dreaded little box. It took me to Photobucket where a cat was baaaaarely hanging on to the side of a bed with it's claws. I think it said down for maintenance. Thanks sky! :dancegirl:

From CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc.: E8 took its first flight this morning after being moved to the large flight enclosure earlier this week! The eaglet flew back and forth several times landing on high perches. E8 will receive daily conditioning to build strength and endurance to increase flight durations. The eaglet is eating very well on its own and is being offered fish in a pool as live prey.

Yay for the update from CROW today on their Facebook Page!
Here is what they posted:
“E8 UPDATE: We have received #E8's bacterial culture test results and they indicate that the antibiotics have improved the bone infection. The eaglet will receive an oral and safer antibiotic for the next couple of weeks to clear the remainder of the infection. The radiographs (X-rays) show overall improvement and blood work remains positive. E8 continues to eat on its own and is bright, alert and responsive. The eaglet will continue to receive daily conditioning to help build strength and endurance.”

I am in awe of this family. They , through putting up the cam and gathering such great moderators, have taught a lot of people a lot of great things, and they have shown us how patience wins over. Kudos to them

The latest E8 update from CROW. You go E8!!!
"E8 UPDATE:
E8 continues to do well in the outside flight enclosure. The eaglet is receiving an oral antibiotic to clear the remainder of the infection and will continue to receive daily conditioning to help build strength and endurance.
Next week, E8 will receive an exam to review the progress of the bacterial infection and overall health. We won't have an update until that time unless there are any new developments.
