These were earlier...

I feel sure a parent was either on the roof or the rail....and of course, a begging kid.

Tuesday morning—much better day so far. Two good feedings before 7:15 am eastern time. I haven’t figured out how to post pics yet but will try soon.

Approximately 10:30 am. Food drop. I think JJ, but not 100% sure.

Edit to add: He didn't share and they didn't attempt to steal. he didn't finish it, so some left to snack on.

Great news! There was also a medium sized feeding early this morning, about 5am, before mom came back with small prey around 7am.

Wednesday morning—parent dropped off prey around 6:50am. Chicks are taking turns picking at it.
Have a good day everyone.
Kathy

Edit to add—approx. 10am parent dropped off another bird. One chick claimed it.

I haven’t seen more food deliveries since 10am, hopefully more to come.
Kathy

Edit to add: mom Tawny brings prey and feeds them approx. 6:35pm eastern time.

I just thought this was adorable...not only is he perched on one leg, but he's holding a feather in his other foot.

Image

Excellent feed around 6:30 pm...it had been raining...thus the blurs and blobs...

OK...I think we may be missing what is going on in the far left...

this was about 50 minutes ago (maybe 55 by now). No food that I could tell...

I know this was Mom..

Image

She left the box, but didn't leave..

Image

You can barely see her beak..

Image

came in again...looked like she had feathers in her mouth..

Image

I wonder if she is trying to get them out of the box....

I'll have to go through the DVR again. this morning, there was a chick eating on the far left...food looked pretty large..gotta go back and see if I can find that.

Plus....sure do wish JJ would make an appearance.

I’m sorry I missed this visit—I have trouble with the rewind on this cam. I wondered about that too, if we’re missing some action to the left. I saw that leftover and wondered.

It would be nice to see JJ too.
Thanks,
Kathy
