Thanks for the link, - I didn't realize that they are as endangered as they are, habitat loss and oil spill pollution.

beans, do you have 3 YT pages? Celebrating Wildlife, lawndaisies and My Wildlife Videos? (Or am I just getting everybody confused?)

Yes, all three sites. Plus BeautifulEagles.

These penguins are endangered and they've been affected by oil spills, too.

Well, I hadn't put 2 plus 2 together to figure Beautiful Eagles was one as well. Well, I have to say they are 4 of my favorites. Thank you for your time making the world a better place. Good job Jean.

Thank you, Mick. Any wildlife hospitals near you? With your love of wildlife, you might enjoy volunteering at a hospital. You meet like-minded people and your life is changed after working with these animals (birds, mammals, reptiles, etc.).

The penguins are very smart. When the oil spill staff lined up the penguins to get food, the penguins quickly figured out what to do. They were fed in small groups, because it was the only way to monitor all of them, to be sure each was eating. They are gentle creatures and were treated with respect, I'm glad to say. I would prefer to see these birds in the wild, but the breeding program is important, ensuring that this species (unlike too many others) will not become extinct.
