This is compliments of the Update Section of the Chile Forum.

Guess they are going to P.H. and Chinese Harbor today or tomorrow. Hopefully we'll hear something soon about K-10 & K-26. I miss watching this pair of love birds.

I have to agree with the IWS Team that K-10 & K-26 have a 3rd nest somewhere. I hope they can find it soon, and get a Cam up so we won't miss the action this year.

I love this pair. These were the first ones I ever watched, and I have to admit I have watched them exclusively since then. In addition to the H.B. Falcon's that is.

Well, the good news is that they are safe...and from reading the posts, it looks like they have a great nest...Bad news is that is gonna be tough on the ground crew...

It really looks like a beautiful area...

thanks for the update, cricket...

Thanks Cricket ........ I'm very sad too ..... but yet, happy that they're both OK, together, and sitting on eggs!! That's the most important part!

Guess I'm just feeling selfish, because we will not ever be able to view this nest due to the terrain. Dr. Sharpe said they would need a Chopper to get the eqipment up there, and that's not hoing to happen. How about a boat, or if someone volunteered a plane for Spirit & Skye as it was done for them.

I too am happy to see they are ok, and Incubating eggs. Unfortunitley we won't be able to see anything till they are feeding the eaglets, and won't know how many for sure until Banding Day.

What gets me is they can do Banding Day, why not a Cam!

Yes ... well, I'll believe they can do banding when it actually happens! Not that they haven't climbed all over those islands as it is but ... ? Even if they could put a cam there, I think it's too late. Dr. Sharpe even said he spooked them off the nest just trying to get a look at it. If they have eggs we don't want that happening!!

Here's a few pics of Two Harbors....
