Summer is coming to an end.
This breeding season was much more successful than last year. We have been treated to some wonderful scenes and pictures.

Great pictures, Ferenz. I saw a little clip on the news today of an Adelie Penguin equipped with a tiny camera on its back, and it showed swimming from a penguin's eye view. Somehow they have to retrieve the camera from the penguin. Interesting, but not sure what I think of hooking up a camera to a penguin. Hope it's temporary.

Thanks for keeping up with the pictures, Ferenz. This was the first year that I can recall where we could see all the action close up at the penguin nests. (Previous years when I watched here during nesting season, one or more of the cameras was out of commission due to storms or other problems.)
