:egg14: Our little eaglets woke up this morning to a nest full of snow! Some never get to see snow until they are full grown, but these babies got a taste today LOL Here is a pic of mom n dad n the nest hunkered down. Mom did not want to get up and let dad take over even. At least I think its mom, not sure.

Thank you so much for the pics of the snow LeeLee, eiguoc and Pattio! I was away today and didn't turn on any cams.
I watched until 2 am nest time last night and it was raining. She was crouching over all of them and kept tucking them in. These are from 1:40am nest time.

I can't tell the difference between the two, but someone left and someone came in. Eaglets are being fed now.

Video: Everyone Gets Fed at Decorah

Both Mom and Dad pitch in with the feeding. The feeding lasted at least 15 minutes.

Recorded 2:20 PM local time

1st egg: 2/23
2nd egg: 2/26

3rd hatch: 4/6

Saw the little one fed twice today, very thorough feeding, with a bite to the middle one every now and then . Big chick exploring around and flapping wings. Took this shot of both parents at the nest.
Looked like one looking in the mirror.
