Great catches at the kestrels nests everyone! And I just spotted more eggs to report:

Two eggs now at Flevo Centrale.

Four eggs now at San Clemente. (The last time I checked, there were only 2 eggs.)

Question for the International Kestrel cam watchers:

I just realized that I have the same kestrel nest listed twice on the Nesting Calendar and the Cam Links page. While the links are different, they both end up showing the same nest. Does anyone know which location name in Germany - Kempton or Bad Hindelang - is more correct?

Thanks for your help!

Hey I'm not 100% sure but I think it is Kemptom BECAUSE I believe the author or sponser or what ever you call it is called Bad Hindelang it is what it says at the top of the ustream page and I think that is where the author or owner of the site puts their name like RRP has Decorah and DF Eaglecam has Duke, ect.
I really don't know how to explain but its always up in the left top of the cam pictures.
Does that make any kind of since? :egg16:

KF - I'll keep the nest name as Kempton based on your comments (I checked back and that's what we called the nest last year also). Thanks!

KF and Ferenz - Thanks for correcting me about the two cams in Germany: Kempton and Bad Hindelang! And thanks, Ferenz, for the maps and additional information. I'll get the cam links page and nesting calendar corrected today.

Switzerland - Muttenz

Thanks for the news (and picture) of the second egg here, Arles!

Switzerland - Wilerfeld

I've been checking this nest quite regularly, but this is the first time I've seen eggs - and not just one, but two. I think they must have been laid on 4/19 and 4/21.

The female kestrel probably died this winter. Since 18th of april 2011 the male seems to have found a new female partner. They are visiting the nest several times per day, if everything goes on like this I am expecting eggs in the next coming days.

Today a fight beteween 2 males:

At the end, she seemed to say to him "Go on, do your stuff. Get rid of him!" :egg13:
