Video: Second Baby Eaglet at White Rock

A second eaglet hatched last night. We can expect to see pecking, but at one day apart, they are more evenly matched than eaglets two or three days apart.

Nap time is over and first one and then the other eaglet emerges. Pecks exchanged. I can't tell them apart now: there is only one day's difference in age.

Vigilant for Crows at White Rock

Crows are near by, and Madame White Rock is understandably on alert. They will probably move on. They have their own babies to feed and protect.

Video: Crows Bedevil the White Rock Eagles

The Crows, which probably have nests close by, wish the Eagles would pack up and leave. They fly back and forth, and one even lands on a branch tantalizingly close to the Eagles. The nerve!
