Thanx ! :sunno:

These 4 small are so fun when they watch the flies fly into the nest !
I'm still a little sad for the other 2 that could not survive only because they were born too late or because the mother left the nest too soon. On this point, it's different compared to the Great Horned.

Site: , click on "Kerkuil".

There's a nestcam and an outside cam.

I found a different Pro Reit site (Switzerland) that has 6 cams and update links that work...

http://www.pro-riet.ch/

The owl camsite Cam 3 has at least (5?) eggs.

Has there been a fight inside the nest - what with all the feathers? There are feathers lying around since days - but it seems more messy now ...

I'm not sure what happened I only look in once in awhile I can't remember when it was a couple years ago there was a fight with other owls that led to eggs and chick being destroyed and killed they turned the cam off then and they just got it back up and now this it is sad

First hatch in the nest in Nir David, Israel - no screen capture yet - too far away, too vague, hardly visible, but there was an egg shell yesterday and I just heard the little one and saw it move for a second! We donot even know how many eggs there are ... Whenever she gets up, she stands between the cam and the nestpit ...

:hi: Checked on swiss pro riet owl cam - my last post was may 1, and the next day nistkasten 2 camera froze, and has been frozen ever since. Noticed the post mentioning camera 3, so I went to the site and checked. It is listed as nestcam 3 stiegmatt, montlingen camera north. There is also a new link for camera south. I think they replaced the camera and this is the new link. I have changed my link buttons. Watched for a minute, and sure enough, the "old horn dog" came in for a visit, and jumped right on mama as usual! Would have gotten a pic, but it would have looked just like the last one I posted, no kidding! His wing was in the air and all the same LOL LOL Just wanted to update.
