Havent checked in with these babies in a few days, and my o my, they are really getting huge now. Heres a pic of one in the "sleeping" position, hunched down. Behind him you can see anothers head. Compared to mom, they are starting to really grow up. :sunsmile:

Thanks Mick! That was great! I'm glad the 'smudge' is cleared up. Those feathers are coming in fast now. I hate not knowing if they're male or female ... drives me nuts! I'm thinking the oldest is a female ... but not sure. I always miss them zooming in on them!

Video: Sneeze, Tweets, Disappointment at Decorah

The trio is hanging out at the nest, desultorily picking at things in the nest. A big sneeze! A parent flies by in the distance. Hope! Perchance an imminent food delivery? Dad arrives! But no, he brings a small branch.

One of the eaglets tries to get his attention: "Look, I'm even eating an old stick, I'm so hungry!" Dad is not fooled by this performance and serenely continues his maintenance, then flies away. Life is full of disappointments.....
