What a nice picture of Froona. :loveshow:

When I first started watching the feeding, I thought these guys will never get full.

The chicks are well fed. Earlier, I saw several frequent meals.
Parents are very capable and very well organized, especially Dad perfectly manages the food supply.
He may even take charge feeding Mom !

If only humans could work in so much harmony to raise their young!
This is great!

I wonder if there is no other possible interpretation ...
And if dad had developed this stratagem to divert mom of chicks?
For it seems that mom does not leave him much opportunity to approach them.

I think there is probably 1....but, I'm suspicious of this area...Could be a face/beak, could be a foot...could be nothing...

SGB in your picture she is putting her beak with food over to the side I think there are 2, the front chick has its beak way over the other way, and in this picture it kind of looks like 2 heads under her

Well, the clearest pic we've had to date....and unless there's munchkin roaming the nest elsewhere or hidden under the other chick, there only looks like one...

I saw a funny scene.
I didn't know it was Daddy until mom arrives, it is for this reason that, unfortunately I have only saved the end ...
Daddy wanted to feed the chicks. He must have suspected he has short time because he tried to make them swallow a piece of meat too big. When he finally decided to shred it into small pieces, Mom came back and he immediately left the place.

My feelings exactly...I could have sworn there was another chick....and not based on today's pics either...as always, we'll probably have to wait on Greg's report to sort it all out...
