What a bummer to have it and then lose the feed. Just like Norfolk-right SgB!

Oh well, I will check in and see the info posted...

No, they don't band here .... most likely because of how hard it is to get to the nest!

Edit ... be back later with pics ... got some chores and errands to do.

Away from my computer all day, so thanks everyone for documenting this wonderful event! We "deserve" this happy ending for a change, don't we? I have a tremendous amount of admiration for those folks who pulled together to get the rescue done. :bow

Thanks to everyone who recorded . I knew they were doing this today ,if possible but had to be out all day.

They looked at the other eaglet in nest because someone thought it was dragging something with its foot.

they do not band here. DAvid does not believe in doing it as he thinks it traumatizes them too much. If they need rehabilitation , then they will band.

Hope they got everything out.

thanks again ladies. I wanted to watch but duties took me elsewhere.

What a wonderful day

I had to work a long schedule today and just read PattiO's Breaking News. Now I'm gonna go stand outside and water the grass with the tears of joy I am crying right now.
No, seriously!

David Hancock is a hero. It demonstrates that with a positive spirit and forward momentum, and hope, beautiful moments of mind bending compassion can be created.

Thank you for posting the play by play, everyone. I wish I could have shared the happiness with you.

Thanks-you BEans. Knew you would have it

Truly a great way to end a day. Flyer will have tales to tell his siblings.

I am truly thankful at this point, for all the great things that have happened this year, in attempts to help our little friends everyone .

Video: Happy Family

So much drama over the last week, climaxing with the successful rescue of Flyer yesterday. The eagle family is back to normal. And this is the only title I could come up with… seems appropriate to me.

Recorded at 4:55 PM, local time

1st egg: 3/7
2nd egg: 3/10
3rd egg: 3/14
1st hatch: 4/14
2nd hatch: 4/17
3rd hatch: 4/19

Aren't those great Patti but out of them all I love set #3 the one with them
all 3 lined straight across the nest, just so baby like you can tell they are all happy everything is back to the same-o-same-o as it was before the fishing line :cloudnine:
