Lots of big loud yakking this afternoon and evening. When she throws her head back to call, the mic does a really good job of picking up her voice.

I am way behind here (what's new?) but just want to send my congratulations to all at CCB and everyone else who is responsible for setting up and monitoring this cam. Lots of work, undoubtedly. Great job by all! :snowflake8:

Thanks Susan and Beth! Mick has done an amazing job catching all the action on video, and the moderators are entertaining and fielding questions from 8am to 8pm. Its been a monumental effort for everyone! We are getting great press from the newspaper, so lots of newbies and locals, which is really satisfying. It a long time pair, so they are a good team, although mom is quite a bully with her large size!

Mick captured mom making moves on dad today. She must be feeling the love :flowers

Hi Susan. . .a question I can actually answer. . . LOL. . .the nest has been here for 10 years. Since the pair are not banded, its not known if its the same couple that began this nest those 10 years ago.

here are a few more pics from this morning.

My personal favorite.. . Barb working to zoom the cam in on dad. . . I was laughing so hard, but just hoping Dad wouldn't fly away. . .I think the cam has a mind of its own.

Well, Barb finally "tamed the beast" and dad tried to stare her down. .

He finally relaxed and entertained us for about 45 minutes. What a treat.
