They continue to work on the operation of the cams... lots of panning yesterday (will upload photos later to my photobucket acct) but as you can read below, not all the panning was by SUMR. I posted to their FB page about no sound (also we have no zoom capability on our end) and this is their reply:
Quote:
We are working on the sound too, not sure if we can or not. Some of the panning wasn't us. That is one reason why we are doing some changes. Certain mobile browers still allowed people to pan and that doesn't work real well when we are trying to record and then they don't get it back to the right spot . It's very annoying.

I hope they can get it fixed soon.

Off topic: does anyone know how to get the cam up on an iPhone? Cam is java enabled which Apple doesn't recognize. Tried the Cloud Browse app, didn't work for me. Thanks.

LOL the dirt phones and grass phones are sometimes just as good especially when the "young as a new blush" phones are too complicated for me to find a phone number...

The webcams are down on IE, and I cannot get the cams on Firefox or Chrome either. The latest from the FB page:

Quote:
Just wanted to let those of you that are viewing the cameras on Internet Exployer that you will be noticing some view problems. We are working on getting the link corrected and have to shut the browser down. You can still view on Goggle Crome or Firefox.
Thank you for all your comments, it was very helpful to determine where to focus our attention. If your still having trouble viewing, make sure you have installed Java and refresh your page. If your still having problems, please a send us message through the comment section of our webpage and we will help you as soon as possible. Can't help if you don't ask.

Unable to watch Upper Mississippi nest over the weekend, but making up for it today. :valthumb:

Sad news today - SUMR FB page update: "Hope and Valor are back to two eggs. I checked the recordings and the 3rd egg disappeared soon after it was laid on the 10th. Why? Only Hope and Valor knows."
Image

Lots of vocalizing throughout the day
Image
and
Image

Late afternoon, SUMR noted the eggs were uncovered for over 30 minutes and it wasn't looking good. Valor came back just after that update and then Hope a bit later.
Image

Hope hasn't left since last photo I took before darkness, snowing again. (she remains on nest now with head tucked in).
Image

Hoping the eggs will be all right. :valthumb:

Today, Hope and valor seemed 'uneasy'. Hope even came after Valor when he went to lay on the eggs. Don't really understand what is going on with them. Valor was on the nest quite a bit today to relieve Hope and the eggs were not left unattended long, 10 min. one time that I saw. I hope they can hatch these two remaining eggs. Only time will tell. :nailbite:

Hope and Valor together today, changing of the guards :valthumb:

Every time I looked in Hope (I think it was her) was on the eggs sleeping I didn't see anything out of the ordinary but I did have to leave for a while in the afternoon, I read I think it was Alcoa that the eggs can be left for about 15 minutes off and on if the weather is nice.
Hoping right along with you that things work here
