Thank you sgb :valheart:

During the snowstorm the female remained on the nest without a break for 20 hours. The pair vocalized throughout the night. The male relieved the female just after daybreak.

Yes. . .please do, Bev.. . .we'd love to have you!!!

Disturbance at the nest. . recorded Sunday, around 8 pm, EST. . Dr. Watts suspects GHO's.. we haven't been able to catch the "culprit" on cam. . . yet. .

Listen at the beginning. . you'll hear a rustle. . then some animal. . not sure what. . and not even sure if it is the reason for mom's "wing slaps"

At the very begining that sounded like a squirrel alert (chirp) it didn't sound happy just like when my cats get to close or a hawk is in view, that alarm sure went out to dad and who/what in their right mind would want anything to do with those WINGS wow

Whatever it is, she gets really pissed about it. I thought it was a squirrel too kitten, but talked to Dr. Watts and he said she would not react that strongly. We know there is a GHO in the area, because the cam caught it in the nest before the eggs came.
