I have no favorites here. Just hope it works out, without any loss of life.

Mom was out of picture one year and then was back in to raise our Buddy. So we will just have to wait and see.

Dad is just following his instincts.

I am not ready for all of this yet.

Both at the nest tonight. Dad is actually laying down in the nest after lady #3 flew in from the branch. Everyone thought she was going to lay an egg but she went back up to the branch ... so Dad just layed down. ? And so, we keep watching and waiting!

I was watching too Patti. I'm not sure what was going on, but my guess is it was an intruder. Lots of screaming from both of them. Dad was showing #3 the nest bowl, but she wasn't going for it. They were there again this morning.

Both were there this morning. So sweet seeing them together...just like the old days. Our poor sweet dad keeps bringing more grass and laying in that bowl. He is adorable showing her what to do :cloudnine:

Reese posted some photos of female aggression at Norfolk. We've seen a lot of this across nests this year.
