I agree they are very alert and he has been on the nest often. Mom especially seems alarmed. BUT I am so loving this cam angle, sound and live. One fuss was over food that dad brought in . He brought it for her. I am saying NO to any intruders.....

You scared me there for a second kitten. The cam is wonderful, and I know you both must be thrilled!

I heard those coyotes tonight. Mom was tucked in and not paying one bit of attention to them. I am so happy to be hearing the sound. I love the vocalizations. We will be warming up over the weekend and next week looks really nice. Maybe the wind will still be with us but nice warm 50's and 60's.

Don't feel bad. I went back and checked our old forum's archives from 2008.

In 2008 there were 9 active eagle topics.
In 2012 there are 25 eagle topics.

kittenface, I sure don't know what that sound was earlier; could have been gunshot, but who knows. At least your last video looks like everything is okay. These eagles sure have a lot more stress to endure than we ever thought.

The thing we have to remember, even though it is hard, is that we don't have much control over what happens at these nests. We only have control over how we react.
