It kind of sounded like gunshots ... but also could have just been banging of some kind. I'm just not sure. Maybe someone is hunting the coyotes! :valscratch: Everything looks good this morning. Nice sunny day.

This morning I had the the best yet at FSV. Dad left the nest as they switched, trilling away. He was vocalizing all the way to the perch tree behind 11 (side view cam). I saw him land in the tree. Mom was cheeping as she went to the egg cup and it was just the BEST! Bless Greeley Joe for staying in there to get sound and to reaim the cam.

Greeley Joe says the IT guys are trying to figure it out. There have been strong winds and outages in that area today also. GJ also says he was up there to check things out and no hatch yet. The dailies pretty much show that there isn't. BUT I SO WANT to see this LIVE.

Now it is time for me to get to bed. Was up early because my quick check on the nest at Richmond turned it to watching the hatch of R2 there. VEry awesome.

Hey, golden, thanks for that update. It must be frustrating for the IT guys with bad weather getting in their way. Let's hope they can get it worked out in time. :valthumb:

35 days for #1 is tomorrow ... so I say Friday or Saturday. Where in the world are they getting the 28th?

What I learned from Richmond (and sgb) is that 38 days is the magic number for eagles.
