It is no wonder all the ladies are in such hot pursuit of Dad. He is one gorgeous eagle! Thanks Jim, for once again, showing us just how beautiful this bird is!

Ohhh, thank you Jim. Those are beautiful. And HE is beautiful. His head is so white, and he has the nicest, smoothest, yellow beak. :) He is a beauty! It does kind of look like he has a few little 'nips' out of his one tail feather.

I agree, beautiful pictures Jim!

The eagles were doing some work on the nest this morning.

Jim, the photographs are so so good! I think your images capture the character of Dad (and Mom) better than any others I have seen. They are great photographers too but your feelings come through in your photographs and I can feel it when I look at them. It's a wonderful exchange of communication and I thank you for sharing these images here on this forum.

picture of #4 and dad.

they think black on claws may be tar and possibly an injury.

They do not believe the 2 females saw each other becasue #4 came from a totally different direction coming in, that intruder, when leaving

I do feel for these females . they jsut want a nest

I am not supposed to be on cams today :valscratch: :valscratch: :vallaugh: :vallaugh: :girlcrazy: :girlcrazy:

The guy from the gardens said the 2 females probably did not see each other but DeeJay, says @#4 chased off the other female.

There was a video but did not really show that
confused but hope #4 remains there to lay eggs

Nest empty but this is their pattern

:agree: Now if we could just get dad to settle in with one of these lovely ladies. Although I would imagine it is too late for this year....

Here's an e-mail from Reese this afternoon. The e-mail was addressed to a lot of people, so I'm sure its all right to share. There were pics to go along, but I see you have them. I'm having a hard time keeping track, but I think #2 just disappeared one day, and the thinking was she didn't like the audience. This has just been unbelievable to witness. All those poor Peeps from Norfolk who just want an egg, as does dad clearly, and all they get are his harem.

From Reese:
At 2:35pm today Female #2 returned to the nest tree and mated with the male. She stayed at the nest tree until 3:20.
At 3:41 Female #4 returned to the nest tree.
