Nest location:
Sidney (southeastern tip of Vancouver Island), British Columbia, Canada, on private property not far from Patricia Bay, near the Victoria International Airport.

I have just come back from a trip out to Vancouver Island and other parts . My friends who observe tell me there were 3 youngsters again this year and all appeared to do well. Food was a plenty as the farmer has chickens and ducks around. and I imagine they ate their share of salmon also.

when we went to sydney to see our friend who adopts out cockers, we saw one o f sidney eagles in tree by old nest from last year. It was lousy weahtr so could not stay long.

looked whee ld nest was at epicure but saw no one but they say they are going back there to nest.

somehow nest form last year has fallen apart.

I know area well as I used to monitor this site.

I love going there.
