PattiO...if you're using Firefox, for whatever reason, the embedded media player never loads (I have added every FF add-on and extension I could find..nothing works..)

So, use this link: (it should open up in a free standing media player...might even open in Real Player..never tried it there...OR you'll have to use IE..(I haven't tried Chrome)

Thanks SBG ... it opened in Media Player for me .. but I'll check in the morning when it's light out! :)

Kitten ... what was the nest we were watching last year where both chicks fell out of the nest and died? Was that Boonshaft?

PattiO (SGB here, not KF.. :teehee: ) that was the Upper Mississippi nest...No cam this year. I think the eagles chose another nest site~(I'm detecting a pattern here..LOL)

I just emailed the Dan Nicholas Park where their resident eagles Justice and Liberty have laid 2 eggs for the first time. I asked if there are any plans to eventually install a webcam so we can include it here. Also invited "them" to check out BCAW. I will advise if I hear anything.

I have added this location to the Eagle Nesting Calendar. Talons crossed for successful hatches!

Re: Dan Nicholas Park Eagles
I received the following response from Bob Pendergrass regarding the eagle cam:

"Hi, we are considering moving our current webcam. We have not made a final decision. If we do move it, we will likely wait until the eggs hatch. Right now, I am working on getting a quote for the work. We will keep you posted."
They currently have a cam that is in the eagle enclosure, but it is not pointed at the nest. Darn! :gaaaaah:

Here is the 24/7 cam link
http://www.dannicholas.net/wildlife_eagle_webcam.aspx

An image I just captured. No eagles visible. I also think the eagle calling may be "canned" since it turns off after about 30 seconds.

I found a really interesting article on the Berry Eagles
The eagles have been named Henry and Martha after Berry's founder Martha Berry and Berry contributor Henry Ford. The eagles have set up a massive nest just behind the school's athletic center.

I have seen the more visible eagle on the ground too. I am guessing that is the male and Mama is incubating behind the tree trunk.

Carolina Raptor Center...OH MY...

Savannah is not happy with a branch that is out of order...While I've been watching (Derek's watching too~stinker) she's tried 3 times to move it...currently on her 4th time (I had to close the cam~couldn't watch anymore)..I know the eggs are tough, but from the cam distance, it sure looked like they were taking a few licks...Not sure why they are zoomed out so far, this close to hatch...grrrrr...

(some of the background noise is coming from the Harrisburg cam...oops)
