It is such a joy to see the Hornby cam working again. I won't complain that the pic is very small. Well just a little bit, but to hear them calling again. Be still my beating heart

It still amazes me how they bring those big branches in and make such a perfect nest

While many thanks to WE is well deserved! - I'd like to share a few things that were posted on the Maine forum . . .

There's also a Forum and website
Forum: http://www.ournaturezone.com
Website: http://www.hornbyeagles.com

Nov 12, 2009,
Thank you Wild Earth TV for helping us to get our cameras back on-line. A lot of people have thanked me for helping to get the cameras back but it was a group effort. Thank you Peter, Graham, Doug, Sheila, Boonibarb, Mary Jane, Nancy, Laura, Lindy, and all the Hornby Eagle Group people who helped to make this happen!

Quote:
RaptorMan who was a Hornby chatroom regular was instrumental in getting the technical 'stuff' set up. But, in addition to Doug and Sheila and Boonibarb, there was a small group working feverishly to get a website and forum ready. Laurad is too modest to tell you - but she is the one who spent hours and hours getting the website ready, and she did a great job. There were many contributors - and the website is a delight - something Laurad can be truly proud of. Everything in the website is authentic - the facts and information are accurate and up-to-date, thanks largely to contributions by AJL and NancyM - who did a wonderful editing job. Much of the photo gallery and illustrations are original, never-before-seen pictures - all contributed by members of the group. I do hope you will get to visit the website and forum. Members of the Hornby Eagle Group, that were involved in this endeavour are listed as members of the forum, with the designation HEG. You will see many familiar names there, I believe.

UP, UP AND AWAY !

Attendance --- over 100 people in attendance.

3:10 pm Ralph released Bandit.
Bandit flew low over the water for almost 4 solid minutes giving everyone quite a show.
He's huge and he's beautiful from all reports from Sandra and soph9

3:15 pm
Bandit lands on the pylons near the bridge.

3:17 pm
He just took off from the pylons again.
He’s now flown out of sight on the other side of the bridge.

Shaw Chilliwack News was on site to do interviews and video.

soph9 has video which she will post this evening.
Sandra and Ellen have pictures which they'll post later.

Story starts on page 88
