Based on the chatter, it appears that Lucy has been on the nest alot today...I've been watching her some this afternoon and she's been helping with nestorations and forming the nestbowl around her...

I have never seen that either SGB. We have been talking about it on chat and Talon said he always wanted to have a video of an eagle breaking a limb off a tree. Not sure that Larry got that limb but he sure did try.

I 'heard' it happen once. Very loud 'crack' and when I looked ... there went the eagle with his branch. :) Very cool!

Can I just share how furious I am... :teehee: I have been agonizing over San francisco..and missed the entire thing..and this is the cam I normally keep up and recording ALL DAY LONG!!!!

I almost didn't get the recorder on the cam fast enough. It is very wet at the nest and this is the first time I have seen Lucy get up to roll and fluff!!!
