Well here is some more bad news Patriot hasn't been seen Liberty is eating dried out leftovers

Someone created a Facebook page ... Northern California Eagles ... I was thinking it was MsEagleWoman... ?

That is where I confirmed the information about Patriot being missing. As of last night he still hadn't been seen. And she had pictures of the other eagle on the FB page. If the intruding eagle is a male ... that would make sense.

OK ... the person posting on FB as "Northern California Eagles" is someone named Renae.

I know. I remember all of her wonderful videos last year. She always had her child with her and was so sweet explaining what was going on.

Well I have been reading over at Hancock and there is Kit Renae and MsEaglewoman that go down there to the nest and she (MsEaglewoman) said that she was not going to be able to go to the nest for a while I don't know if it is health reasons I just don't know the reason but she had said a couple different posts that she is out of commission for at least the rest of the week i know in some of her video's that you can hear kit talking to her so maybe that's what you were thinking about I love to listen to her & kit talk about the eagles the passion in their voices is just addicting, I feel so bad for all of them at hancock they are a small little community at the Redding topic but mostly for MsEaglewoman she is like a part of our family here with all of her vids and answering all of my questions so fast and sweetly she had no idea who I was but she was right there sending me emails and pictures so fast. Well enough of that or I'll start crying for her all over again

Well ...I just checked the cam. Lib is sitting on her remaining egg. Maybe the intruder is leaving her alone today?? I really don't know if that egg is gonna hatch though. :(

This is so, so sad for these local watchers. I know how I'd feel if it were the nest I watch. It's bad enough we're only watching from the cam.

This is also Two Harbors...this eaglet was so cute...mom was trying to fluff the nest and pull straw under her...and one point, the chick grabbed a beak full of straw....too cute!!!
