But don't they even check the nest when they do cam maintenance? They're is obviously something in there they keep getting stuck in. It is not natural ... nor nature ... if there's something manmade in there that keep getting tangled in.

Gimme some emails Kitten!!!

OK...got the cam back..(not sure for how long)..it seems he's tangled more than stuck...I don't understand why mom (is this mom) doesn't pull him over...we've seen falcons do this...is it not in an eagle's DNR to do this?

Well now how in the world did it get free? It was obviously stuck - at least it looked it to me. Amy will think I'm nuts! Now the two bigger ones are on the other side of the nest and baby is still in the cup. And no adult present!! :gaaaaah:

They are a noisy bunch ... finally saw the baby get a bite.

I'm not sure if this is the male or female ... I'm thinking it's the male ... but it looks to me like it has a band on both legs.

Well, if you watched the vid, it doesn't even appear he was stuck (maybe he had a talon/toe hung up?)...even prior to the vid, there was no twisting or struggling or tugging...he just turned around and started moving toward the bowl...go figure...not only will Amy think you're nuts, but I'm sure XCEL is getting a nice chuckle over my email.
