Beth - Thanks for the news about the first egg at Worcester.

At the Lisbon nest, four eggs hatched yesterday and the last egg hatched today. I managed to catch a glimpse of at least four chicks during a feeding early this morning.

What a great video of the Beleef de Lente kestrels, SBG! It really did sound as if she was talking in her sleep. (As for eggs, when I checked early this morning there were none. But who knows, she could have laid her first egg right before she started napping and chirping in your video.)

Thanks for the pictures of the additional eggs at the two Poland nests, Terka. They sure have been busy laying more eggs there!

By now, the Berlin nest probably has a third egg. I took this picture two days ago but didn't get a chance to post it until now.

One of the eggs should be hatching soon at Claudia and Ics nest.

Image

The Denmark kestrel has been visiting the nest a lot, so I expect an egg soon. The problem will be seeing any eggs because the picture is so blurry.

Image

I finally caught sight of the eggs at the Wilerfield nest in Switzerland after the female left and before the male took over incubation duties.
