:leafwave: In the time lapse archives for 10-29-13, a falcon makes an appearance at 10:36 am. If someone gets a chance to check it, is that Hoffman or the Mrs. ? thanks

I can't be sure I think there are bands so that would make it Mr. H (Mrs. isn't banded) unless there is someone else hanging around AGAIN. If that is you Indy you go back home where you belong. :pumplaugh:

:batty: Been looking at today's archives. A falcon came at 10:00 and stayed the whole hour preening and looking around. Shortly after 11, it left abruptly, but a falcon appeared right afterward. That falcon sat and preened for a while also. WaS the 2nd falcon different than the first (why would it start preening all over again?) Or did the first falcon just return right away? I hope you guys don't mind my questions. These birds fascinate me, and Im thinking its the slow time of the season, so maybe you wont mind me trying to "pick your brains"

:sum9: Oh my goodness - what year was it hatched? Oh- duh- 2012.... Well, anyway, I looked at today's archives... This little falcon was rather elusive, wasn't he, Kittenface? I could almost hear your heart pounding when you zoomed in the cam!

Texted C&C and Chris let us know that that particular banded bird (Journey) was re-banded when she was put in the hacking program in Dakota...so even though it's entered in the MPD as the Ohio band.... it isn't anymore...Hopefully that entry will get updated...

We need a nice pic of the bands...here is one Kitten found in archives earlier:

So.... I sent a note, via FB, to UWM... Lets see if they will Help! :leafwave:

Hello!
My Name is Chad. Some of us from a birdwatching "community" (Bird Cams Of the World) are trying to figure out who the new peregrine is that is visiting the nestbox. We have captured a photo that tempts with its closeness to being able to read the bands. But the birds feathers obstruct just enough to not see it.
I am asking if the cam can be adjusted to a close up view like on the homepage where one can read the bands easily, (when the bird sits still) It seems to prefer just off the center/right. I am especially interested since what we can see of the bands, is from a nest in Ohio, that I watch and give civilian reports on. If not possible, I understand. Just wanted to ask, since IndyFroona could run off this newcomer anyday, when she comes to visit Hoffman, this winter.
Thank You for your time....
Chad Steele
