:4turkey: Hi Kittenface, The newbie was at the box Tuesday for about 30 seconds, from 10:53:15-10:53:45. The day was so dark and gloomy, I didn't think it was worth reporting. It has been at the nest quite a lot today, as you can see from Ferenz's catches. (Nice job, Ferenz) Today, It wasn't at the box, as far as I could tell, until the 12:00 hour. It came in at 12:43:57. At 12:46:15, newbie sort of has its leg out... At 12:48:15 he hops out onto the ledge, one its favorite hang outs. It hops back at 12:53:21, preens and leaves. Back at 13:00, until 13:31. Between 14:31:36 and 14:46:06 he is in and out a lot. Also he/she is back at 15:24:26, in and out until 15:47:42, where it hops on top of the box, and you see its tail feathers....

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! :1turkey:

:1turkey: Evidently the falcons were busy with their Black Friday shopping, because no one appeared on the cam archives until 13:23:03, for 24 seconds. It then reappeared at 13:23:39. I am interested in an "experienced" opinion of what the falcon was doing at 13:23:45. Is it "talking" to another falcon? With all the in and out, are there 2 falcons checking each other out? The last I saw a falcon, was at 13:25:23, with the falcons tail feathers showing on the roof.... (Friday Nov. 29)

Glad U been checking TSusan..Looked to me like it was enticing another peregrineto bond.....When they act aggressive, the defending one will drop it's wings and hold them out at the 'Shoulders'...and raise the body/head feathers to appear bigger...The head feathers will make the peregrine's head look "square-ish"...Check out the battle pics on C&C's latest FB post..of GG and McKee's Battle where they are locked together in battle on the rocks...
Of course we don't know if this bird is Hoffman, Indy Froona, or "Newbie"....So we will have to have patience (me especially :teehee: as I can't figure out what is so hard about a zoom :geek: ) Maybe they already ID'ed it and will post about it somewhere, as they zoomed in when Kitten was watching that one day... :imbored:

:leafwave: Thanks, Matrix, for your comments, and Terka for the nice catches! That was the only time a falcon was "on cam", early in the 9:00 hour. Im just wondering if Anyone recognizes the falcon Terka caught as being one of the "regular" residents?

:suchdrama: I thought this falcon looked "bigger"... Im wondering what Kittenface will say. They have "on the hour" cam shots of the nest at the Washington site. Indy must be a fastidious housekeeper. Nest was Very clean, looking uninhabited.

Yes the nest is finally cleaned up Greg must have been up there sometime early last week and cleaned it. All the nests have got the clean up done. Indy's nest was a mess for sure. :teehee: I'm getting the video done for the nests at WE tonight.
