It sure causes problems when a falcon migrates for the Winter. At least 3 falcons were killed because the former Cleveland matriarch (Zena?) migrated every Winter & every Winter another falcon moved in. At least we haven't seen anything that horrific at this nest, but there is at least a bit of a battle in the Spring.

Catwoman :8snowflake:

Take a look at the beak...the tip crosses over just a bit...and has a indentation in the top beak near the downward curve...I have some pics of it...

Good eye, Matrix! I didn't even notice her beak, but yes, apparently she injured it at some point.

Nice catches, Matrix, Ferenz & Kitten!

Awesome Terka!! :6snowflake:

I am now certain that the glass dome over the camera reflects "another peregrine" and each peregrine see's it as either a threat or a mirror for admiring themselves... The tiercel Terka caught here, seems to be afraid of the reflection, but the females...first Ms. Tahoe and now Ms. Unbanded...seem to admire themselves in the mirror reflection... :teehee:

Good catch Terka!! I didn't think she'd (Tahoe) go easily.....It's not the tiercel...he is infatuated with the cam...there has been a LONG absence of anyone for day's now...the most I've seen is wings where one lands just outside the box...
