how far is this nest from the other Florida nests.

One had a about a 3 year old on its branch the other day. Juliet finally shooed it off

I was still in be d when it was going on. time change has bagged me

Mom seemed calmer toward end so maybe an immature or one just trying to get out of wind

It was a sub adult..maybe 3 or 4 yrs old...

I saw your post SGb and never looked at date, so went into panic mode and have cam up ever since :girlcrazy:

thought it mus be a young one, that mom was upset but calmed down

they had one at Florida nest the other nihgt also while 2 youngsters were in nest . mom finally chased it off

I totally forgot to post this.

First feed after the intruder incident. Feed actually lasted almost 30 minutes and B3 was starving. Very high winds during the day, so Mom kept B3 tucked under with few feeds prior to this. I'm pretty sure he/she ate at least half of this fish.

what was so cool was that dad stayed..maybe to help block the wind? Mom moved closer and closer to B3 as she was feeding and as the feed drew to a close, B3 was wedged between them..it was so cute.

Vid isn't the best. Wind was playing havoc with the feed..some jerkiness/freezing, etc.

I have some videos of that wind but have not been able to get them into you tube yet. they really had to hang on that windy day

looks like they have drawn a bit closer in or Be has grown overnight LOL

AS BERRY COLLEGE HAS THE LARGEST CAMPUS IN THE WORLD WITH 27,000 ACRES WITH WOODLAND, MEADOWS AND WATERS IT MUST BE A NATURE LOVERS PARADISE DOWN THERE! ...and guess what...I went to college there!!! It is a wonderful place. I believe the second nest is 7-10 miles from this nest.

YOU WERE A LUCKY WOMAN SKYGIRLBLUE TO HAVE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE. I WENT TO COLLEGE "OUT ON THE HILL" AS THEY SAY IN HENDERSON. MAYBE ONE DAY BCAW MEMBERS CAN HAVE A MEET AND GREET, SPEAKERS, GOOD FOOD, TOUR THE BERRY CAMPUS LOOKING FOR WILDLIFE AND ENJOY THE LANDSCAPES! I'M ALL IN!
