They are beautiful chickens, I mean falcons.

Maria says: "This morning when I arrive in the square of the fair I see them both at once: Diana and Rex are on the lookout in front of the nest, the chicks grow and need to be monitored closely, but from the outside, so they begin their road towards autonomy."..........

Maria says: "Ohhhhhhh , now our chicks are a little UGLY ! but for us they are anyway BEAUTIFUL !
This morning I found them lazily resting on the bottom of the nest......After some time I feel a call to come outside, unmistakable! and the chicks one by one begin to rise a bit hesitant then a little more determined. Here comes a parent that sits on the windowsill a big pigeon already devoid of the head and quickly flies away again..........
Now that they are all standing I took the opportunity to observe their growth phases : the first , (born 9 April) has the back and wings all dark , with white plumes still numerous here and there, the other 2 (born 1 or 2 days after) are half white and half dark , the last born , the more lazy , has still a majority of white feathers....."

yesterday a young falcon was found injured and taken to the Lipu (Lega Italiana Protezione Uccelli)

was greatly weakened because he could not eat, his beak was very spoiled by a strong infection may be due to a prey of pigeon infected
