well...she's still up there..

Update on the BB....had to be rescued today...from the FB page:

    Update on the baby bluebird: Dr. Carleton rushed to the nest and removed a very long string or fiber, like the kind used to wrap hay bales, from its throat and stomach. Both parents were there as she tended it and have been in the nest checking on it. The baby is very weak. This is a wait-and-see time. She will assess it tomorrow, see if it eats and strengthens. Thank you for the calls to Berry and for trying to help!


According to the comments, the baby has eaten several times since this crisis...fingers crossed that it will be ok...
