THANKS PRISCILLA FOR THE INFO! BBB BABY SURVIVED THE NIGHT AND IS THRIVING! JUST WITNESSED FEED AND WANTS MORE AS USUAL! SEEING IT'S EYES OPEN AND GROOMING IT'S WINGS AND THE MOTOR COORDINATION IT NOW HAS IS AMAZING! AS RECENT AS 3 DAYS AGO....NONE OF THIS WAS GOING ON! DR. CARLETON TO BE LIVE ON CHAT EITHER TONIGHT OR TOMORROW NIGHT TO GIVE UPDATE ON BBB AND REVEAL SEX OF. :eggthumbup:

B3 IS ON HER BRANCH FACING THE NEST @ PRESENT. :egg19:

Day 79 for B3

I've been watching all morning....One thing I have not caught her doing yet is branch to branch hop/flight. (not that she hasn't done it yet)..but, that's usually a pretty good pre-fledge milestone...takes coordination, courage, and wing strength...I think we have a few days to go before actual fledge...unless she goofs...which is entirely possible...I've watched how careless and crazy she's been on the very edge of the nest...LOL..even though I can see she digs in those talons, some of those outer twigs are getting pretty loose!!

B3 still prefers to walk down the branch until she's over the nest...LOL

B3 was up on the right side this morning, rt as approach cam view

B3 is trying different places.

Just looked at your vidoe SGB. That first one shows the side TY :eggthumbup:

now B3 is on left side lower down on a different branch

B3 is in tree again tonight . started off on right side and then walk hopped to branch on left
B3 spent time in nest also

did not see but B3 very aggressive at breakfast. I think she is ready.

She may be ready...I just can't tell...she hasn't done some of the things that I remember R1 and R2 doing at Richmond before they fledged..they did a lot of flights UP to the higher branches before they fledged...but, maybe this tree is not conducive to that. I seem to recall the Richmond nest having more of a canopy above the nest than this tree...

THOUGHT WHEN B3 MOVED, THERE WOULD BE FOOD SHE WAS MANTLING. SAW VIDEO ON YT BY EAGLEWHISPERER: "WHITE TAILED EAGLES OF HUNGARY" WITH ONE OF EAGLETS DISPLAYING SAME BEHAVOIR AND SHOWS NO FOOD WITH ARRIVAL OF EITHER PARENT. WONDER IF THEY ARE SO CONDITIONED TO ... PARENT=FOOD ... THEY DISPLAY BEHAVOIR. OR NOW THAT SHE IS EXPLORING OTHER AREAS IN TREE ... SHE SEES NEST AS SEPARATE AREA FROM HERSELF ... IT MUST BE DEFENDED FROM OTHERS ... :egg16:

She's currently in the nest and needs to stay there...I really gotta do yard work...LOL
