from my recrder , I saw an adult had been in with food, and B3 has been in nest and had quite a good time going in and out and to several efferent branches

B3 as been at nest all day. Mom was in with him . quite amusing to watch them with the fish. I have an edited video I will post later

I must say, I am somewhat puzzled by B3's behavior today...She is still lounging...

I edited it too much. missed a few take aways.
It was just a back and forth






blue jay harassing again. there had to be a nest close by. I have seen this before with blackbirds

One year at Sidney eagles nest a little yellow bird was harassing. just protecting its young.
b3 almost took a header .

I think B3 just needed some down time. She is so much like Florida eagle LOL

I was hoping to record and put up video but I had a glitch
and so I could not re record. but a few shots of how high stinker went this morning. I had to go out so I had put on record.

can you see her with wings outstretched , right at top of right hand side and she was flapping away

both adults were in tree and saw on fly off. missed recording.

maybe a food drop as B3 was nibbling.

youtube is not working well for me right now...I still have 2 vids that have been "processing" for over an hour now...I've never had that issue...grrrrrrrrrrrr

SAW B3 EARLIER TODAY IN THE NEST WITH THE WIND BLOWING HER FEATHERS AND THE SUN SHOWING OFF HER COLORS AND SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY ... BREATHTAKING ... :eggthumbup:

Well, I have a vid...but, YouTube still isn't working for me..it uploads fine, but won't process...I did just discover that I'm not the only one...

Oh well...maybe it will be ready in the morning...LOL

FOUND BURIED SOMEWHERE A SHORTENED VERSION FROM BERRY COLLEGE OF Q&A WITH CHATTERS AND DR. CARLETON. THEY ASKED ABOUT THE BLUEJAY ATTACKS. SHE ANSWERED SOMETHING TO THE AFFECT OF: THE BLUEJAYS ARE PROTECTING THEIR NEST NEARBY ... IT IS UNNECESSARY, REALLY. INTERESTINGLY, I THINK SHE JUSTIFIED ALL OUR OPINIONS IN ONE SENTENCE! :egg19:
