they won't, swinwk!!

B3 has been "lounging" in the nest now for at least an hour...she was pretty relaxed already when I opened the cam, so no telling how long she has been there..

Somebody on FB said that the Bluejay nest was right above (very top) the actual nest...not sure how this person knows that, but if true, then that certainly explains the dive bombing BJ's...however, I have seen none since I've had the cam open...

I have video for later that shows bluejays attack. She jus t left and I was recording wrong cam . Nice flight out towards us

she had not been bothered by bluejays for awhile now

Can't wait Bev. I had quite a few...what's interesting is that she had been in the nest for several hours and was never bothered. She preened, she lounged, she watched the world go by and not one bluejay. She left for a few minutes and when she returned, they were relentless..often 2 at a time...good thing she's not a peregrine falcon...those bluejays would be lunch...

this is from first visit. I only put in part of attack or it would have been sooooooo long

I just love B3 though

you know when we watch our peregrines fledge, it is the magpies that are like this. and the kids just sit and take it. sometimes the adults intervene, if it gets too much

I was so mad I missed her take off n video as it was beautiful. Just a graceful fly off towards me . At least that is how I saw it LOL

I had wrong cam recording. I am only recording 7 at once :girlcrazy:

she spent lots of time here today. She had tow late feeds and was mouth fed in one.

the bluejays did not bother bother to much today

first video , adult brings n food and then leaves Be does a good job of finishing it off

just showed some o fit as it would be long

second video( another food drop , and Be gets fed , a long feed and then departs out back . adult finishes up and leaves
