:egg8: Babies are getting so big - they have lost a lot of their down. Three are up on the ledge, and one is flapping like crazy down on the floor!

:egg19: Thanks for the catch, Loza! I'll bet mom and dad have to hustle to keep these guys fed. Any information available as to bands, names, numbers?
I went to the Bio-Sci peregrine falcon web page. No information, but some nice pictures taken during the banding... It says Lightning is the tiercel here? Shows how far behind I am..What happened to Hoffman?

I did not know that Tsusan. We saw Hoffman earlier in the season, but the photos taken during banding clearly show Lightning's bands. He is a 2012 Hatch from WE Energies Oak Creek Power Plant and his parents were Eclipse and Scott. I have updated the info on the cams and info page

WOO HOO...another Scout and Orville Grandchild..

Its so interesting how this nest seems to be visited by WE falcons...

Ok, Im a little confused.... I had thought Lightning was with Tahoe at Milwaukee county (according to Greg Septon's report on pg 5 of the WE thread.) So is Lightning at both nests, or does Tahoe have another mate? Poor Tahoe, you've got to wonder too what is going to happen if Madam X recovers enough to be released....

The picture was from the Bio Sci page. I went through the BCAW topic page by page. In March there was a mystery male, but afterwards we saw and identified Hoffman.

I sent Greg an email to see if he knows when Lightning arrived. Will report back.

Thanks gigi...I emailed Greg as well...Lightning was ID'd as the male at WE Milwaukee at the start of the nesting season...that's the confusion...what is he doing over here?
