SGB - sorry I forgot to thank you for the video you got of Pleasant Prairie. It's been so hot and humid here lately, and with no AC at my house, my brain gets as foggy as our beautiful valleys have been around here each morning..... (LOL)

SGB and Kittenface, thankyou for the videos of the Pleasant Prairie crew! I don't know how 2 flapping peregrines can sit on one stick without knocking each other off. The one is quite a skilled wind surfer, isn't he?

tsusan, actually #3 got up there as well...but, that vid didn't turn out well, so I didn't convert it...

it was very crowded on the perch..#3 decided it best if he/she got back in the box...

I looked at the cam just now, and NO one is in the box! I do see a shadow, tho - someone is on top of the box.... (I hope) ps - I have noticed that # 3 doesn't seem as sure of (her)? self. (Pleasant Prairie)
In today's stills for Milwaukee County, it did catch an adult bringing food at 10:00, but it's head is down.... Im assuming it's Tahoe

Kittenface, thank you so much for the collages of the WE nests. I have really enjoyed them. I thank you, and SGB for looking after Tahoe, and looking up some information for me, too. You are both busy ladies, and I appreciate it!! When it comes to peregrine falcons, I guess they are in the driver's seat, and we are just along to take notes.....

Madame X from Milwaukee County has been released and is flying free.
Now it is time to worry Tahoe is young and in great shape and I pray Madame finds a new place to go.

Hi Gigi and Kittenface, Since the article about Madame X is in today's paper, was she released Saturday? Waupin is not too far north of Milwaukee... 50 miles? Do you think that if Madame X returns to her WE nest, will she get there today sometime? I really want for both Madame X and Tahoe to be safe....

I must say, when I got that article in my Google alerts, I had to scratch my head...So very happy that Madame X has recovered to the point of release, but so very worried that she may make a bee line back to her territory. thought about sending an email to Greg with the "what were you thinking" comment...LOL..thought better of it.

Hopefully, Ms "X" will stay clear and that Tahoe will remain safe with her kids. I just hope Tahoe has some male help that we don't know about!!

Yes, I'd like everyone to live "happily ever after" too.... I noticed in yesterday's stills at Milwaukee county, there was no one home during the morning, and one adult shows up in the afternoon. It stood way over to the right, all I could see was the beak. Then later, is has brought prey back to the box and is eating all by itself (no kids?) Would the kids have fledged this quickly? Maybe "dad" is out flying with them? Anyway, I looked at some pictures of Tahoe when she was at Bio-Sci. She has a much more heavily speckled chest than Madame X. (For future reference if I ever get a good view of the adult at the box.)

No one in the stills (except a shoulder of someone at 7am) up to the current time of 12pm...Leftovers on the ledge that have been there for most of morning...

Greetings, Matrix! Yes, I mentioned to someone that maybe a nice person could switch the MCPP cam to live until this has played out a little more... I'm still hoping....
