and a slideshow from this morning when dd came in with fish for mom.

He was hilarious as he fixed up the nest. I wish I had learned the video but no time yet.

Missed the talk but I think I know most of the history.

I hope she lays only 2 eggs this year. she had so much trouble with #3 last year. I think I mentioned this already.

But you're right, he really sits on her ! I was in the chatroom earlier this evening. Not the thing for me I'm afraid.
Cam is zoomed way back right now. Snow on the ground. The light is very different because of that. A second egg should arrive today or tomorrow.

Great pictures, thanks Beth! I never been at this nest before, have to say it's beautiful and somehow calm with it's environment... it looks like it could be in Finland (the nature only ;) ) :wavingsnowgirl:

they are very protected there from 2 legged threats.

I am with you DEF with the chat room. I have been there a few times and too quick for me.
some of the regulars are on skype but I have not had that set up yet. My brother in australia keeps bugging me to get set up

Nice shots everyone.

I hope egg #2 does not take as much out of her. Remember how big egg #3 was last year and we thought she was done in.

I guess there is a juvenile in the area

Just stopping by to check on things here. Thanks so much for all the beautiful photos today. :sfthumbs:

I saw everyone was posting for a little while today on the chat. I have it open all day, but I agree, its too much to keep up with. I'm really glad that Steve/ DGIF has been on to answer questions. There are tons of newbies who are completely taken by this pair (and how can you not be??) I am laughing out loud every time I see Dad come in, rearrange his stick, and sit on her. Then when he gets a turn, he is still moving that stick around. I love watching them both. Very special pair for sure. So far there doesn't seem to be too much disruption from all the other eagles in the area. Hopefully it stays that way.

We should see an egg tonight or tomorrow!

I could swear I just saw 2. I hit the screenhunters key instead of the frapps key so didn't get it. I think I'll make both the same key. Pity I can't get this nest with screenhunter
I knew I wasn't seeing things
