so the pushing she was doing while I was watching was pre labor. I saw her lift her bottom and then move positions. I should have kept watching but had to go.

here is video about 30 minutes before egg. I did not record it but she gave out a trill before turning positions.

Probably so, Bev...I was watching then too, but was absorbed in something else...so, I really missed it!!

yes..he's been there several times today...and this is right after he brought dinner for Mom...I love her "yums"...



Mom better stay tight on the egg!! Its gonna be frigid (for Georgia) the next 36-48 hrs!! Current temp is 16 F (-9 C) and dropping!!

:smilehat: Thanks for your update with vid! I checked @ the nest several times and never saw him. I think she was enjoying her meal too! We are @ 6 F right now and on our way down to 1 F. The winds are supposed to shift and come from the south @ 5 am, but if that's all you all got down there, I'm not sure it's gonna do us much good!!! :teehee:

Not gonna be much help, I'm afraid...not even supposed to go above freezing tomorrow..brrrrrrrrrrr....LOL..

(we'll see...they always predict the worse..hee hee...)

Current temp: 9 F/-13 C....

They heard about the temps in the midwest, so they aren't complaining...and its gonna be sunny...but, temps won't go above freezing today...

Lunch on the nest. I don't know why Dad decided to leave, but mom took her time finishing her lunch (Squirrel, I think). Egg was unattended for about 7 min...it should be fine...Hope to see egg #2 this evening!!

(current temp: 33 F/1 C)

just got in door and saw egg and was glad I had recorder on . she just got up and went to town.
it was nice having other cam because you could see push first there and then be ready with recorder LOL
