Random pics from yesterday...probably all out of order..hope the time stamps are visible.

I'm a little concerned. I haven't caught dad (even using the DVR) since around lunch time. He didn't come to the nest last night like he normally does and he hasn't been to the nest this morning..so, I'm a little worried. There has been a sub adult in the area that they have been chasing away from the nest as recently as 2/23..

Sure hope all is ok..

Still no dad....Mom got tired of waiting...and located leftovers for a feed...they usually have at least two feeds by now.

B4 ate first!! B5 got some very good bites and both had decent crops by the time she finished. they are expecting snow this afternoon...

Mom is back & apparently didn't find any food. She's scrounging around the nest for nestovers.

Edit: You're right, Beth. When I first saw her she was blocking the food, she I thought she didn't get any.

thanks for keeping watch...I'm too stressed over this right now ( :nervous: ) to keep the cam up..

There was quite a bit of food in the nest (buried under the straw) this morning...that's what mom pulled from earlier..

I hope they are wrong about the snow..could get any where from a trace to 4 inches in the next 24 hrs..Not much compared to northern standards...but not good if we only have 1 parent here now...I'm still hoping and praying that Dad will show up...and SOON..

The feed was from the leftover squirrel. Saw on one weather report the snow starts sometime between 5 and 7PM and to receive 3" @ Berry.
